This is an English translation. If the two versions differ, the Danish version applies.

1. Data controller

Moduli ApS is the data controller for the personal data we process about visitors to moduli.dk, about people who contact us, and about our customers and their contact persons.

If you are a member of a gym

If your gym or your trainer uses Moduli, it is the gym or the trainer who is the data controller for your information in the app, for example your membership, your bookings and your training. Moduli only processes the information on the gym’s behalf and under a data processing agreement. If you have questions about your information, you should therefore contact your gym. We help the gym to respond.

When you visit moduli.dk

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the technical information that is necessary to display the site, for example IP address and browser type. We do not use the information to track you or for analytics.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We use the information for these purposes:

  • To respond to your enquiry and give you a quote. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to those who contact us, and steps prior to a possible agreement (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)).
  • To provide Moduli, collect payment and give support. The legal basis is our agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b)).
  • To comply with the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven) and other legal requirements. The legal basis is a legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c)).
  • To keep the website and the system secure and stable. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).

We do not send newsletters or marketing without your consent, and we do not make automated decisions about you.

4. Retention

We only keep the information for as long as we need it:

  • We delete enquiries that do not lead to a customer relationship no later than 12 months after the last contact.
  • We keep information about customers for as long as the customer relationship lasts, and after that for up to 3 years, so that we can handle any claims.
  • We keep accounting records, for example invoices, for 5 years after the end of the financial year, as the Danish Bookkeeping Act (bogføringsloven) requires.

The system’s data is stored with Supabase on servers in the EU.

Cloudflare, Resend and Stripe may transfer information to the USA. This takes place on the basis of the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.

We may also disclose information to our auditor and to public authorities when the law requires it.

  • have the processing restricted
